Are you acting your age?
Spotify says my listening age is 73 based on 2025's wrapped.
Apparently, my music taste lives somewhere in the late 60s, which makes me an “old soul.” Meanwhile, a friend of mine (also 50) came out as 19.
It made me smile but also made me think.
Because no one acts their age anymore.
And not just in a “we all feel younger than we are” kind of way.
Teenagers are coming out as 50 because they love 90s Britpop.
Parents are clocking in at 12 because their playlists are full of K-pop and Disney.
And some of us are 73, lost in Fleetwood Mac and Joni Mitchell.
The truth?
Post-demographic consumerism isn’t a theory it’s happening quietly in our everyday choices.
We’re defined less by age and more by attitude, curiosity, and connection.
So… what’s your listening age?
